THIS IS RECIPE MIE ACEH (alloy noodles with seafood)
MIE ACEH
INGREDIENTS:
-1 crab (around 300 gram)
->clean and cut into four pieces
-1 serving fresh egg noodle
SPICE PASTE:
-50 grams dried red chilies
-6 candlenuts >fried
-25 grams peanuts
-25 grams dried shrimp
-8 shallots
-4 garlic cloves
-1 tsp. Cumin
-1 tsp. White pepper
Method:
-using mortar and pestle,grind all the spices into spice paste. You can also blend them in a food processor
- heat a little cooking oil in a wok. Sautee the spice paste until fragrant and cooked through.
- pour in one glass of hot water. Add the crab. (if you wish,feel free to add sliced cabbage.)
-after the crab turns red and its meat is cooked through, add the noodle.
-serve with fried shallots,fried mlinjo seed crackers and pickled cucumber and shallots.
